So Far So Good
Today has been pretty good so far, as well as pretty basic. Drew doin' his school thing and me doin' the Mom thing. Ellie and I are doing what we can to prepare for Thanksgiving! Making sure the house is clean, making our ridiculously long grocery list..all that good stuff. We're also anxiously awaiting (by we I mean myself) a record player which should be coming in the mail soon! We've been collecting old christmas records and are so excited to play them around the holidays!
Ellie has been learning how to splash these past couple days and has been seriously enjoying those baths! I had to take a little video of her splashing, but am having trouble uploading it-but no worries, cute video coming soon!!

A peek into Ellie's Day:
So today is Eliana's 6 months! We're so excited at how well she is coping to life and how quickly she is learning! She's so much fun to parent and watch. She's got two teeth..
She's rolling over, scooting around (and she's pretty fast), she's trying to pull herself on to things, sitting up fairly well, and is loving solid foods. She really has got quite the personality. Just the other day I sat her down on the living room floor with with some toys to keep her occupied while I showered. When I got out, I heard voices and ran out to the room to make sure she was alright..I walk out to a very content and proud baby. She had turned on the TV, manually turned on the dvd player, got the remotes off the TV stand, and turned on cartoons! She just looked at me and grinned.
So i tried to get a cute picture of her smiling and holding a sign with her name and age..she just crumpled it up..but I tried! Here's my attempts:

Our Family Introduction
HI! We're the Ainscough Family, and this is our blog! There's my husband Drew, Myself (Lizzy), and our daughter Ellie. I've never been real consistent with blogging, but now that I have a reason (a super cute baby) I'm hoping to get better. The goal is to provide a way for our family who are scattered around the Nation, and occasionally the World for that matter, to stay updated and involved in our lives and watch little Ellie grow.
Drew is a student at BYU-I and is studying business and marketing. He's a great student and an AWESOME Dad. He does such a wonderful job juggling school, 2 jobs, a baby and of course, a needy wife. He works for a couple local radio stations and loves those jobs, It's fun that he's able to do work he enjoys!
I'm a stay-at-home Mom, and it's the best job anyone could ask for! Where else can you work for such fulfillment? I love being able to teach and watch my daughter grow as well as learn from her. I love music and it seems that Ellie may have acquired that
same love, she loves to sing (or scream) along to the guitar, and private "mommy concerts" never fail to make her smile.
Ellie is the happiest baby in the world..not a joke. I've never seen a baby who behaves like she does. You can feel the love in her eyes and see her determination. As much as I never want her to grow up, it's fun to watch.
I hope you all enjoy watching our family learn and grow together as we share a piece of our lives with you.
