Christmas!

Christmas morning was so fun! Ellie had the great look of surprise on her face even before opening the gifts. It was so exciting to see her tear the paper, and love the paper more than the gifts inside. After we had our little family morning, we hopped over to my parents to exchange gifts with them and spend the day in our pjs. Ellie was exhausted by mid-day (we may have forced her out of bed from excitement) but after a quick nap she was more than thrilled to play with her new toys!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve is my Dads birthday, and we have the fun tradition of a fondue party! We look forward to it every year! It's been so nice having my family so close, especially when we get to enjoy perks like these!

We always have cheese fondue for dinner, and obviously chocolate for dessert, then we always watch the nativity and afterwards all gather around to listen to some christmas songs before bed. It's been a fun tradition we've been doing for years that has lots of good memories attached.

After the party we headed home and did some finishing touches on the tree before bed!

Christmas Eve-Eve, Parrish Style

Drew's family has a really fun christmas tradition of a progressive dinner at all of the different cousins houses. We start off at one house for appetizers, continue to the next home for the main course, and follow somewhere else for dessert, spiritual thought, and gift exchange. It was so much fun to be apart of all the love and laughter that took place. I'm so grateful for the family I married into and the love and open arms they've always shown me.

we got a lovely musical number from Reese

Granna and Bill got all the couples a very cute, creative, and USEFUL gift..
Can't thank them enough! 100 $1 bills!
