We love summer!!

Today was such a fun day! After Drew got home from school we took a drive to the park and El got to experience her carousel ride. At first she wasn't so sure, but by the end she warmed up to it and really loved that she got cotton candy afterwards!

Late Night Walmart Fun

 We took Ellie on a Walmart adventure last night and had so much fun trying stuff on her and letting her walk the isles all by herself! She had so much fun and felt like such a big girl. ps how cute is that 4th of July headband on her!?

Ellie's 1st Birthday

Happy Birthday to Eliana!

 Poor Ellie had a double ear infection on her birthday but she was such a trooper. She struggled through each gift loving the wrapping more than the gifts, of course, but she enjoyed herself! And she really loves her new bean bag and frozen soundtrack!

 We went to Pocatello to spend the rest of her birthday with family and it was fun for her to see all the cousins

 Oh, Ellies cake..I thought I was the smartest, most thoughtful mother in the world by getting my daughter a sugar free smash cake. Genius right? She can smash her cake and eat it too, without the sugar high.. well I tell you what..ANY MOTHERS READING THIS-DO NOT DO A SUGAR-FREE SMASH CAKE! Just let your kid enjoy their birthday instead of screaming because the frosting burns their throat! I wondered why she was only eating the little rose on top (the only non-sugar-free part of the cake) so i took a bite. My throat was on fire and there was a terrible after taste..poor baby! I guess thats why they call the first one the Guinea pig. Other than that the party was a success!

Ellie Update

life has been pretty good with this happy girl. Her "newest" obsessions are frozen go-gurts, frozen the movie(we watch it everyday) and dipping foods into sauces, random, but she loves it. She grows so much every day and is such a joy. She loves jumping on the trampoline and is enjoying walking. She's getting pretty good at it too. We love having such a blessing in our lives!

Anxiously Awaiting!

We move in 14 days! How crazy is that?
My Dad bought a new home in Rexburg to work out of, and as a result he needed tenants to rent out the upper floors..who better to than his favorite daughter ;)
We're very excited to move. The thing I'm most excited for is a pantry (lame, i know) but, i'm tired of using our limited counter space as storage for our food. It'll also be nice to have a spare bedroom for family when they come visit. We couldn't be more blessed:
