Everyday life..

So these last few days have been pretty typical, Drew going to school, me getting the house and dinner ready for him to come home, same old same old.
Last night we had a Ward Christmas Party and that was a lot of fun. Drew signed me up a month ago to participate in the talent show..i found out i was singing the day before, but it was good to preform again, even if it was just at a little church party.

We ended up having christmas early, and opened Ellie's big gift this week. The irony was that it was more for mom and dad than Ellie. She's gotten so good at crawling and getting into stuff that in order to get anything done we needed to open up her little chair, but she loves it and it was fun watching her try to help dad set it up!

Family Time

Last Night I didn't end up blogging because I was having too much fun just enjoying my time with Drew and El, we were playing and laughing and just having a good time. And Ellie got to experience the most delicious chocolate ice cream!

Love that guy! He's Such a good Dad!

Burrrr!!

We endured quite a cold morning today! We woke up to -9 degree weather and NO POWER!! Drew's morning classes were cancelled, which was nice because we didn't have to get out of bed for a little longer, but he eventually had to go, and I ended up taking Ellie to grandmas to hang out with the auntie and uncles since they had no school from the power outage.  I ended up going out with the kids in the snow (not my best ideal) and took some pretty pictures of the trees! Luckily the power came back on and we were able to enjoy a warm family dinner and bake some yummy Christmas Cookies!
Here's some of the snow pictures from today:

Like I said, when the power came back on we made yummy cookies, they were cinnamon, nutmeg, oatmeal cookies with icing, YUM
